I was really thrilled to get and use the strap lizard. I was thinking how awesome it would be to use them with the various sets of straps I have. Unfortunately I was surprised to find out that they are to be permanently attached to the straps. This makes storing them very cumbersome, not able to share with other straps of caring length and not wise to toss over the load that is on the truck. You might very well dent the truck if you did that. I think this is a great step in the right direction, but they need to be made where you can attach them once the load is secure and easy to remove when you are through using the strap. How can I return these?
Very happy with my purchase. Only complaint is they will only hold app. 15 feet of excess 5000lbs strap. Mine are 30 foot, so had to shorten strap.
Good product. Lower free shipping so 3 smaller units qualify. Consider a much larger unit for heavy straps.
The strap lizard is a great idea to keep strap ends neat and untangled.

They were shipped fast and very easy to set up. Makes life so much better with storage and travel with the excess strap all conveniently contained.
With all the new ideas on strap winding coming out I was not expecting this simple devise to work so well. It meets the need perfectly and has a great size that is not too difficult to store. No worrying about having a drill handy or batteries or chirds. Just wind it up.
I really like the idea of neat straps, and less tangle! It is a little on the bulky side so may get in the way sometimes, but all in all great product.
I have tried tying up my straps in various ways and always have them come loose. I saw a video for the strap lizard and thought I’d give it a try and wow they are amazing. Super helpful and easy to use, have recommended them to several people!

Other than just needing to be a bit bigger these are freaking awesome. Worked great and keeps everything tidy and makes rolling up fast.
Super easy to install the straps. Much easier to roll up the straps. Nicely made and feel like a solid design.
The idea seemed good, but the actual Strap Lizard is large, and it does not completely accommodate a 16ft typical strap. So because of its bulk, I won’t buy a 2nd one. However it does keep the one strap tidy-ish, so I will keep it on one of my straps.
Just got to try this today and it is a fantastic strap accessory that makes life very easy on the extra strap length. Very impressive and I plan to buy more.
